My Name is Carrie Turner

Horses & helping people is my passion,

I have amassed over 35 years of horse care & riding knowledge & currently have my own private yard with 4 horses, i started with one Pony many years ago & quickly moved to a 16hh TB at aged 11, my parents didnt want to ever go through the ordeal of selling a horse again so buying a horse i could grow into was there idea.

The truth was he was a dream horse & we grew up together frequently found Show jumping or eventing. 

I turned to dressage in the 90's after being an avid eventer plus my then TB had amassed many injuries as he was as mad as me. So a slower pace suited us both & we showed great promise even doing Pony Club area's. I sadly lost my TB aged 30yo but he taught me so much.

 

 Now a days im found in the dressage arena & have made it up to an Advanced level dressage, i have been so lucky to have more than one horse to get me where i am now. Ive always prided myself in being able to train ordinary horses for dressage ive competed TB's, IDxTB, PRE's & Warmbloods, each one ive gained so much knowledge from, ive also backed my own horses all my current horses are exclusively backed & produced by myself.

I qualified as an instructor in my 20's which made me an older candidate but i put my mind to it & competed my stage exams & PTT. Since then ive been helping riders in my area part time. In 2015 i made the huge leap to open Divine Equestrian Ltd an independent equestrian retailer online & also a small boutique physical shop which is still running today.

In my time ive suffered many setbacks, from loosing amazing horses to business set backs.  I had played with NLP having sessions back in 2013 to help with a competition confidence crisis. I then found myself once again needing to work on my mindset with NLP 10 years later. I well & truly caught the NLP bug & decided i needed to invest in becoming NLP trained (Neuro Linguistic Programming) I found it was life changing.
